About Christmas Mono
There is nothing clever about Christmas Mono, and that is the compliment: it does what the shelf promises and stops there. The designer behind it is Cute files. The listing shows 5.0 out of 5 on 1 review, which is better evidence than the thumbnail. Only 94 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
Serifs are for reading, so we look at a full sentence in the preview rather than a single word — the rhythm shows up only in a line of text. This is a safe default rather than a statement piece, and most jobs want the safe default. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
