About Choria
Ask for classical font and you get a hundred near-misses; Choria is one of the few that answers the question as asked. Only 4 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. The designer behind it is zafira.type. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
A serif is for reading, so judge it by a full sentence rather than a word — the rhythm only shows up across a line. Our own plan for it is classical style, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
Search for choria, elegant design, elegant touch and font design and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same font, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are serif and they stay on this page. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on serif fonts and script and serif font combinations, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first. We keep it under Serif Fonts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the serif fonts we have gone through.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
