About Catmint
Most of what turns up under aesthetic typography needs work before it is usable. Catmint is the version that does not. Only 1 person has saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. Credit goes to moonlight craft.
The obvious job for it is artistic fonts, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. A serif is for reading, so judge it by a full sentence rather than a word — the rhythm only shows up across a line. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether aesthetic typography is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
