About Caoges
Caoges is our all caps serif typeface pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. The designer behind it is Graphicxell. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. It sits at 3 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.
A serif is for reading, so judge it by a full sentence rather than a word — the rhythm only shows up across a line. If you want one use for it, take beauty branding font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether all caps serif typeface was the description or the aspiration.
Filed as branding, caoges font, contemporary serif font and craft svg font. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. It is shelved with the rest of the serif fonts, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one. We track what people actually type before they land here: serif fonts and script and serif font combinations. If that is roughly what you were after, this font is in the right family.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
