About Camila
Most of what turns up under bakery branding font needs work before it is usable. Camila is the version that does not. 2 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. The designer behind it is Graphicxell.
Our own plan for it is beauty, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. A serif is for reading, so judge it by a full sentence rather than a word — the rhythm only shows up across a line. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
The listing files it under beauty branding font, beauty logo font, beauty packaging font and bold — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. The searches that bring people to this shelf are serif fonts and script and serif font combinations — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. It is shelved with the rest of the serif fonts, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one. The neighbouring searches are serif — worth a look if this particular font is close but not quite it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
