About Bonjgure
What we like about Bonjgure is how little it tries to be everything — it does album cover font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Serif Fonts shelf. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. 3 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. It comes from Denustudios.
If you want one use for it, take blackletter: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. A serif is for reading, so judge it by a full sentence rather than a word — the rhythm only shows up across a line. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
Type blackletter modern, bold font, bonjoure font and calligraphic font into the search above and this one comes back — the same font under four different habits of phrasing. Judged against the requests we see — serif fonts and script and serif font combinations — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs. On this site it lives on the Serif Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing serif fonts rather than searching for it by name. People after this usually search serif too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
