About Biora
Biora is our advertise font pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. With 5 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size. The designer behind it is Flawless And Co.
A serif is for reading, so judge it by a full sentence rather than a word — the rhythm only shows up across a line. Put it to work on alternates first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
Search for beautiful typography, beauty font, biora and branding font and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same font, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. Nearby you will see serif, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. On this site it lives on the Serif Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing serif fonts rather than searching for it by name. The searches that bring people to this shelf are serif fonts and script and serif font combinations — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
