About Bember
What we like about Bember is how little it tries to be everything — it does architecture branding font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Serif Fonts shelf. It sits at 3 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. It is Graphicxell's work. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge.
If you want one use for it, take beauty: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Serifs are for reading, so we look at a full sentence in the preview rather than a single word — the rhythm shows up only in a line of text. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether architecture branding font is really what you are getting.
Type beauty branding font, boutique branding font, branding and editorial into the search above and this one comes back — the same font under four different habits of phrasing. Put next to the usual requests here — serif fonts and script and serif font combinations — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often. Nearby you will see serif, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. We keep it under Serif Fonts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the serif fonts we have gone through.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
