About Aria
Most of what turns up under body text font needs work before it is usable. Aria is the version that does not. Credit goes to OliviaFontCo. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. Nobody has piled onto it yet, which means the only recommendation here is ours.
If you want one use for it, take bold font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Look at the face at body-text size before you look at it big. Most serif disappointments happen at eleven point, not at forty-eight. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
