About Whimsy Melonia
Whimsy Melonia earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to aesthetic font, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. It is shineink.designlab's work. With 10 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size.
If you want one use for it, take baby shower font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
Search for beauty branding, bloom, botanical font and boutique font and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same font, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. The same shelf also answers to script, calligraph, handwritten, hand written and signature, so widen the search there before giving up on it. What this shelf gets asked for is script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones. You will find it among the script and calligraphy fonts, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
