About Welcome
Welcome is our beautiful font pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. It sits at 3 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. It is Infinity Design's work.
The join between letters is the whole craft in a script face, so we look at a word with a repeated letter before judging anything else. Our own plan for it is boutique font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether beautiful font was the description or the aspiration.
Type branding font, calligraphy font, classy font and crafting font into the search above and this one comes back — the same font under four different habits of phrasing. It is shelved with the rest of the script and calligraphy fonts, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one. The wording people arrive with is script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid. The same shelf also answers to script, handwritten, hand written, signature and cursive, so widen the search there before giving up on it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
