About The Vintage
Ask for bcaligraphy font and you get a hundred near-misses; The Vintage is one of the few that answers the question as asked. No saves on it yet — new files sit like that for a while, and it says nothing about the file. The designer behind it is Preketek texs. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict.
Our own plan for it is beauty font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. Type your own words in the preview box before you decide: script fonts look beautiful in the designer's sample and fall apart in all caps or with a double letter. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
Search for bold font, brochure font, brush font and bundle font and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same font, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. Related wording on the shelf: script, calligraph, handwritten, hand written and signature. Same shelf, different phrasing, and the sort options above work across all of it. The wording people arrive with is script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid. On this site it lives on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing script and calligraphy fonts rather than searching for it by name.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
