About Tattoo
Ask for alphabet fonts and you get a hundred near-misses; Tattoo is one of the few that answers the question as asked. It comes from OWPictures. 5.0 out of 5 from 1 review — a small sample, but it is the sample there is. The save count sits at 239, and a number that size usually means the file does what its preview promises.
We keep it filed mentally under alphabetical, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Type your own words in the preview box before you decide: script fonts look beautiful in the designer's sample and fall apart in all caps or with a double letter. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
The words on the listing are best fonts, best tattoo fonts, best tattoo fonts cursive and best tattoo fonts for guys, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. On this site it lives on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing script and calligraphy fonts rather than searching for it by name. What this shelf gets asked for is script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones. Related wording on the shelf: script, calligraph, handwritten, hand written and signature. Same shelf, different phrasing, and the sort options above work across all of it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
