About Sparkle Shine
We went back and forth on Sparkle Shine and kept it, because the alternative was a shelf full of fonts that look better than they work. 1,333 saves is a quiet kind of recommendation, and it is the only one we can read off the listing. The buyers who left a word rate it 5.0 out of 5 — 20 reviews, all of them on the listing. It comes from Rvandtype.
Use it where the font has to disappear behind the thing you are actually making. Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. We would not hesitate on this one, beyond the two minutes it costs to read the licence tab.
The same shelf also answers to handwritten, hand written, signature, cursive and brush, so widen the search there before giving up on it. We keep it under Script and Calligraphy Fonts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the script and calligraphy fonts we have gone through. The searches that bring people to this shelf are script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
