About Something
Something earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to beauty font, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. Only 8 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. It is Black line's work.
If you want one use for it, take brochure font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Type your own words in the preview box before you decide: script fonts look beautiful in the designer's sample and fall apart in all caps or with a double letter. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
The listing files it under brush font, bundle font, christmas font and cursive font — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. We filed it under Script and Calligraphy Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. What this shelf gets asked for is script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones. The same shelf also answers to script, calligraph, handwritten, hand written and signature, so widen the search there before giving up on it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
