About Lesson Plan Script
We put Lesson Plan Script on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf because back to school font is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. Credit goes to Victoria Gates. 5 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict.
The join between letters is the whole craft in a script face, so we look at a word with a repeated letter before judging anything else. Our own plan for it is casual script, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
Filed as casual script font, chalkboard font style, classroom font and classroom script font. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. Its home here is Script and Calligraphy Fonts — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing. People after this usually search calligraph, handwritten, hand written, signature and cursive too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place. The wording people arrive with is script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
