About High Point

What we like about High Point is how little it tries to be everything — it does adventure display typeface, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf. The save count is still small at 12, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Buyers put it at 5.0 out of 5 over 1 review; worth clicking through to see what they actually said. Credit goes to Illustration Ink.

Type your own words in the preview box before you decide: script fonts look beautiful in the designer's sample and fall apart in all caps or with a double letter. Our own plan for it is airy cursive font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.

The listing files it under canva font, craft font, craft svg font and crafty — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. The neighbouring searches are script, calligraph, handwritten, hand written and signature — worth a look if this particular font is close but not quite it. We keep it under Script and Calligraphy Fonts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the script and calligraphy fonts we have gone through. We track what people actually type before they land here: script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font. If that is roughly what you were after, this font is in the right family.

How to use this font

  1. Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
  2. Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
  3. Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
  4. Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
