About Girly
What we like about Girly is how little it tries to be everything — it does autumn fonts, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf. The save count is still small at 77, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. softcreative50 made it.
Put it to work on banner fonts first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether autumn fonts is really what you are getting.
Filed as branding fonts, calligraphy fonts, chunky fonts and craft fonts. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first. We filed it under Script and Calligraphy Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. Related wording on the shelf: script, handwritten, hand written, signature and cursive. Same shelf, different phrasing, and the sort options above work across all of it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
