About Deviantly Brush
Most of what turns up under artistic script needs work before it is usable. Deviantly Brush is the version that does not. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. The save count is still small at 25, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. joliciatype made it.
Our own plan for it is brush font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. Type your own words in the preview box before you decide: script fonts look beautiful in the designer's sample and fall apart in all caps or with a double letter. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
Filed as brush lettering, brush pen style, brush script and calligraphic script. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are handwritten, hand written, signature and cursive and they stay on this page. On this site it lives on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing script and calligraphy fonts rather than searching for it by name. Judged against the requests we see — script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
