About Whisking
We put Whisking on the Sans Serif Fonts shelf because bakery branding is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. Only 2 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. Almairatype Studio is the name on the listing.
We check the numerals and the ampersand first, because a sans serif with a weak set of figures will bite you on every price list and date. Our own plan for it is bold display, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
Filed as bold titles, casual lettering, chef apparel and clothing brand. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. You will find it among the sans serif fonts, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job. We track what people actually type before they land here: sans serif fonts and fonts sans serif. If that is roughly what you were after, this font is in the right family. People after this usually search sans too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
