About Welbine
What we like about Welbine is how little it tries to be everything — it does album, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Sans Serif Fonts shelf. The designer behind it is konstantinestudio. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. With 20 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size.
The numerals tell you more than the letters do. A sans with weak figures will undercut every price list, date and phone number you set in it. We would use it the way the listing hints — arcade — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
Search for artwork, bold, boxy and branding and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same font, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. People after this usually search sans too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place. You will find it among the sans serif fonts, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job. What this shelf gets asked for is sans serif fonts and fonts sans serif. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
