About Vanbergh
What we like about Vanbergh is how little it tries to be everything — it does aesthetic font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Sans Serif Fonts shelf. Only 1 person has saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. The designer behind it is BILLI.
The numerals tell you more than the letters do. A sans with weak figures will undercut every price list, date and phone number you set in it. Our own plan for it is beauty font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
