About Universe Protector
Universe Protector earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to angular font design, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. Credit goes to weknow. 2 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.
The numerals tell you more than the letters do. A sans with weak figures will undercut every price list, date and phone number you set in it. Our own plan for it is apparel, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
