About TRT Rusthic Grotesque
Most of what turns up under branding font needs work before it is usable. TRT Rusthic Grotesque is the version that does not. With 12 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. Truetype is the name on the listing.
Our own plan for it is clean font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. We check the numerals and the ampersand first, because a sans serif with a weak set of figures will bite you on every price list and date. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether branding font was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
