About Takugi
Ask for branding and you get a hundred near-misses; Takugi is one of the few that answers the question as asked. It is RagamKata Studio's work. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. The save count is still small at 1, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
The obvious job for it is casual, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. The numerals tell you more than the letters do. A sans with weak figures will undercut every price list, date and phone number you set in it. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether branding is really what you are getting.
If you came in looking for branding font, casual font, childish and childish font, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. The same shelf also answers to sans, so widen the search there before giving up on it. Its home here is Sans Serif Fonts — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing. The wording people arrive with is sans serif fonts and fonts sans serif, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
