About Strange Dreams
We put Strange Dreams on the Sans Serif Fonts shelf because classic is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. It is Dadiomouse's work. The save count is still small at 56, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. 5.0 out of 5 from 3 reviews — a small sample, but it is the sample there is.
We look at the lowercase l, the capital I and the figure 1 side by side; if two of them are the same shape, the face will cause trouble. We would use it the way the listing hints — cthulhu — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. We would not hesitate on this one, beyond the two minutes it costs to read the licence tab.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
