About Story Kinder
Story Kinder is our bold font pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. 23 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. It is Minimalist Eyes's work.
Put it to work on branding font first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. We check the numerals and the ampersand first, because a sans serif with a weak set of figures will bite you on every price list and date. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
The listing files it under bubbly font, casual font, cheerful font and children font — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. On this site it lives on the Sans Serif Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing sans serif fonts rather than searching for it by name. Judged against the requests we see — sans serif fonts and fonts sans serif — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs. The same shelf also answers to sans, so widen the search there before giving up on it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
