About Stormcloud
Stormcloud earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to advertisements, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. A Christie made it. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. Only 2 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
If you want one use for it, take branding: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. The numerals tell you more than the letters do. A sans with weak figures will undercut every price list, date and phone number you set in it. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether advertisements is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
