About St. Louise Dayton
This is the one we reach for when the request is graphicdesign. St. Louise Dayton keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. It is TempCraft's work. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. The save count is still small at 23, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
We check the numerals and the ampersand first, because a sans serif with a weak set of figures will bite you on every price list and date. Our own plan for it is graphic design fonts, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether graphicdesign is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
