About Space Race
Ask for 80s retro-future and you get a hundred near-misses; Space Race is one of the few that answers the question as asked. Credit goes to INKSUN™. 20 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
If you want one use for it, take aerospace: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. The numerals tell you more than the letters do. A sans with weak figures will undercut every price list, date and phone number you set in it. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
The words on the listing are angular, automotive, bold and branding, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. We keep it under Sans Serif Fonts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the sans serif fonts we have gone through. The same shelf also answers to sans, so widen the search there before giving up on it. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on sans serif fonts and fonts sans serif, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
