About Salfond
Most of what turns up under 70s font needs work before it is usable. Salfond is the version that does not. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. It sits at 1 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. Almairatype Studio made it.
We check the numerals and the ampersand first, because a sans serif with a weak set of figures will bite you on every price list and date. Our own plan for it is 80s font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
