About Ranosta
If branding is what you came for, start here — Ranosta is the plainest reading of that request on the Sans Serif Fonts shelf. No saves on it yet — new files sit like that for a while, and it says nothing about the file. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. The designer behind it is RagamKata Studio.
We look at the lowercase l, the capital I and the figure 1 side by side; if two of them are the same shape, the face will cause trouble. Our own plan for it is cyber, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
The listing files it under branding font, cyber font, cyberpunk and cyberpunk font — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. Put next to the usual requests here — sans serif fonts and fonts sans serif — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often. It is shelved with the rest of the sans serif fonts, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one. Nearby you will see sans, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
