About Paintbrush
If abstract is what you came for, start here — Paintbrush is the plainest reading of that request on the Sans Serif Fonts shelf. It comes from Pukka De. With 3 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge.
We look at the lowercase l, the capital I and the figure 1 side by side; if two of them are the same shape, the face will cause trouble. We would use it the way the listing hints — alfabeto — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether abstract was the description or the aspiration.
The words on the listing are alphabet, background, calligraphy and cartoon, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. The searches that bring people to this shelf are sans serif fonts and fonts sans serif — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. People after this usually search sans too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place. You will find it among the sans serif fonts, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
