About Old Military Stencil
What we like about Old Military Stencil is how little it tries to be everything — it does aesthetic font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Sans Serif Fonts shelf. GraphicsNinja made it. 4 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
We look at the lowercase l, the capital I and the figure 1 side by side; if two of them are the same shape, the face will cause trouble. We would use it the way the listing hints — army font — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
If you came in looking for army sans serif font, army stencil font, assertive stencil and brand logos, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. We track what people actually type before they land here: sans serif fonts and fonts sans serif. If that is roughly what you were after, this font is in the right family. We keep it under Sans Serif Fonts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the sans serif fonts we have gone through.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
