About Nordix
Nordix is our advertising pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. 15 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. It comes from Glyphonic. It stands at 5.0 out of 5 across 1 review, and we read the low scores first when there are any.
The numerals tell you more than the letters do. A sans with weak figures will undercut every price list, date and phone number you set in it. Our own plan for it is body text font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
The listing files it under bold, bold font, brand identity font and branding — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. On this site it lives on the Sans Serif Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing sans serif fonts rather than searching for it by name. Related wording on the shelf: sans. Same shelf, different phrasing, and the sort options above work across all of it. The searches that bring people to this shelf are sans serif fonts and fonts sans serif — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
