About Nexbloc
Nexbloc is our bold pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. With 10 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size. The designer behind it is Juru Rancang Graphic. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict.
The obvious job for it is branding, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. We check the numerals and the ampersand first, because a sans serif with a weak set of figures will bite you on every price list and date. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether bold was the description or the aspiration.
Type bold font into the search above and this one comes back — the same font under four different habits of phrasing. Judged against the requests we see — sans serif fonts and fonts sans serif — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs. The same shelf also answers to sans, so widen the search there before giving up on it. It is shelved with the rest of the sans serif fonts, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
