About Neue Avenier
Most of what turns up under advertising needs work before it is usable. Neue Avenier is the version that does not. The save count is still small at 5, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Credit goes to Glyphonic. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
The numerals tell you more than the letters do. A sans with weak figures will undercut every price list, date and phone number you set in it. Our own plan for it is body text font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
If you came in looking for bold, bold font, bold vintage sans serif and brand identity font, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. We track what people actually type before they land here: sans serif fonts and fonts sans serif. If that is roughly what you were after, this font is in the right family. It is shelved with the rest of the sans serif fonts, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
