About Moderga
The reason Moderga is here is authentic handwritten for packaging and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. It is Goliatte Studio's work. It has gone unnoticed so far. We found it worth shelving anyway. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.
If you want one use for it, take authentic script font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. We look at the lowercase l, the capital I and the figure 1 side by side; if two of them are the same shape, the face will cause trouble. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
