About Maple Valley
Ask for apparel fonts and you get a hundred near-misses; Maple Valley is one of the few that answers the question as asked. Nuhatype is the name on the listing. Only 1 person has saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge.
We keep it filed mentally under autumn fonts, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. We check the numerals and the ampersand first, because a sans serif with a weak set of figures will bite you on every price list and date. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
Search for beauty fonts, christmas fonts, christmas in july and clean fonts and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same font, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. Judged against the requests we see — sans serif fonts and fonts sans serif — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs. The same shelf also answers to sans, so widen the search there before giving up on it. We keep it under Sans Serif Fonts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the sans serif fonts we have gone through.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
