About Magison
Ask for bold and you get a hundred near-misses; Magison is one of the few that answers the question as asked. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. Credit goes to Typia Nesia. It has 147 saves behind it — enough that we trust the demand, not just our own taste.
We look at the lowercase l, the capital I and the figure 1 side by side; if two of them are the same shape, the face will cause trouble. Our own plan for it is branding, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
Filed as business, display, gadget and game. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. Nearby you will see sans, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. Put next to the usual requests here — sans serif fonts and fonts sans serif — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often. We filed it under Sans Serif Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
