About Limited
This is the one we reach for when the request is advertising font. Limited keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. Funtype Co. made it. It stands at 5.0 out of 5 across 7 reviews, and we read the low scores first when there are any. 870 saves is a quiet kind of recommendation, and it is the only one we can read off the listing.
We would use it the way the listing hints — album cover font — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. We look at the lowercase l, the capital I and the figure 1 side by side; if two of them are the same shape, the face will cause trouble. The score is good enough that the risk is small. We would still look at the preview full size and read the licence tab before using it for anything we sell.
Search for athletic font, block font, bold sans serif and branding font and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same font, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. We filed it under Sans Serif Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. What this shelf gets asked for is sans serif fonts and fonts sans serif. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
