About Kolase
We put Kolase on the Sans Serif Fonts shelf because beauty font is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. It comes from SayStudio. The save count is still small at 7, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
We check the numerals and the ampersand first, because a sans serif with a weak set of figures will bite you on every price list and date. Put it to work on brand first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
Search for branding, calligraphy, calligraphy font and canva and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same font, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. Nearby you will see sans, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on sans serif fonts and fonts sans serif, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first. We filed it under Sans Serif Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
