About Kanbe
Most of what turns up under advertising needs work before it is usable. Kanbe is the version that does not. The designer behind it is Sealoung. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. Only 22 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
We check the numerals and the ampersand first, because a sans serif with a weak set of figures will bite you on every price list and date. The obvious job for it is branding, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether advertising was the description or the aspiration.
It answers to clean, corporate, family font and formal, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. On this site it lives on the Sans Serif Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing sans serif fonts rather than searching for it by name. The searches that bring people to this shelf are sans serif fonts and fonts sans serif — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are sans and they stay on this page.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
