About Friendly Rounded
Friendly Rounded earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to branding font, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. Only 4 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. Credit goes to Pamlico Creations. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist.
We look at the lowercase l, the capital I and the figure 1 side by side; if two of them are the same shape, the face will cause trouble. Put it to work on bubble font first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether branding font is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
