About First Coffee
We put First Coffee on the Sans Serif Fonts shelf because best font is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. With 3 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size. FreshTypeINK is the name on the listing. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict.
The numerals tell you more than the letters do. A sans with weak figures will undercut every price list, date and phone number you set in it. Our own plan for it is blackphanter font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether best font is really what you are getting.
Filed as branding font, business font, calligraphy font and christmas font. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. We keep it under Sans Serif Fonts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the sans serif fonts we have gone through. People after this usually search sans too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place. The wording people arrive with is sans serif fonts and fonts sans serif, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
