About Erial
Most of what turns up under alternate characters font needs work before it is usable. Erial is the version that does not. The save count sits at 129, and a number that size usually means the file does what its preview promises. It comes from Whymore. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge.
We look at the lowercase l, the capital I and the figure 1 side by side; if two of them are the same shape, the face will cause trouble. Our own plan for it is canva font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
