About Echo Stripes
Most of what turns up under abstract needs work before it is usable. Echo Stripes is the version that does not. Only 38 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. It comes from Gleb Guralnyk. It stands at 5.0 out of 5 across 1 review, and we read the low scores first when there are any.
We check the numerals and the ampersand first, because a sans serif with a weak set of figures will bite you on every price list and date. We keep it filed mentally under alphabet, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether abstract was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
