About Dynamic Retro
We put Dynamic Retro on the Sans Serif Fonts shelf because alternates font is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. Credit goes to SiapGraph. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. It sits at 23 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.
If you want one use for it, take apparel font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. We look at the lowercase l, the capital I and the figure 1 side by side; if two of them are the same shape, the face will cause trouble. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether alternates font was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
