About Christmas Summer
What we like about Christmas Summer is how little it tries to be everything — it does best, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Sans Serif Fonts shelf. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. It sits at 12 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. alonkelakon made it.
We keep it filed mentally under creative, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. We check the numerals and the ampersand first, because a sans serif with a weak set of figures will bite you on every price list and date. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether best is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
