About Chock Tagmed
We put Chock Tagmed on the Sans Serif Fonts shelf because bold is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. The save count is still small at 23, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. The designer behind it is Maulana Creative. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
We look at the lowercase l, the capital I and the figure 1 side by side; if two of them are the same shape, the face will cause trouble. Our own plan for it is bubbly, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
